Research Interest
He is interested in atmosphere-vegetation-soil interactions, especially the ones modified through land surface phenology (e.g., start and end of growing season in landscapes or larger scales). Nowadays, his researches are focusing on the interactions over croplands.

Scientific questions are following: 1. Could the phenological changes in cropland affect local or remote weather or climate? 2. What are the main factors driving the region-to-region and country-to-country differences in the agricultural behavior responding to weather and climate? 3. Could better agricultural yield and better climatic environment be obtained with new agricultural adaptations through the selections of crop-species, sowing date, and cultivar maturity?
