Research Interest
His research interest is about responses and impacts of spring phenology to climate change. The seasonal rhythm of vegetation activity severely varies in the world of climate change, and it gives impacts back to carbon cycle as well as climate through various biogeophysical processes. He conducts several studies about the interactions between climate and vegetation phenology using satellite-retrieved observation and climate modeling. By highlighting the interactions, he tries to get insight about the role of the terrestrial ecosystem as a dynamic and interactive component on the Earth system.
