| Research Interest |
He is conducting interdisciplinary research between climate sciences and biological sciences. His main interests are the reaction and adaptation of ecosystem to the changing climate and its feedback to the climate system. In this field, he is focusing on the coupling between the regional climate and the spatial distribution of the plant functional groups. The ultimate goal of this study is the prediction of biome shift in the future climate and its effect on the regional climate. He is also studying about the interaction between chemical composition of atmosphere and vegetation activity, using earth system model and various observation datasets. These researches will help increasing the climate prediction skills of the earth system models.
