Research Interest |
His research focus is on applying machine learning technique for tropical cyclone (TC) track forecast. He is currently using neural network model to improve TC track forecast in the medium range made by dynamical model.
Previously he studied the interaction between TC and East Asian summer monsoon, and involved in observational and modelling studies of air quality, including the impact of TC track change on regional air quality and simulation of air pollution episodes.
