| Research Interest |
My main research areas are long-term variability in air quality and associated climatology over East Asian regions. So far, I have been studying (1) the occurrences of high concentrations of air pollutants in the free troposphere employing aircraft measurements and (2) discrepancy of the trends between fine (PM2.5) and coarse (PM2.5-10) particulate matters induced by altering atmospheric conditions. My findings emphasize the necessity of continuous airborne/ground monitoring and analysis of long-term variability in air pollutants and meteorological variables to prepare for anthropogenic climate change and the subsequent air quality change.
